BASF Coatings and Toyota Motor Europe ink strategic partnership

BASF Coatings and Toyota Motor Europe have announced a strategic partnership to develop the Toyota Body&Paint program across Europe, laying the groundwork for a long-term collaboration for both Toyota and Lexus brands.

The Toyota Body&Paint program will incorporate BASF's Body Shop BOOST consultancy services and provide access to Refinity, a cloud-based digital platform offering color, business, and training solutions. 

Chris Jackman, Director of Global Automotive Refinish Coatings at BASF, said: "Through our collaboration with OEMs and our continuous focus on innovation, we have gained extensive expertise to ensure the utmost level of accuracy, enhance the customer experience, and set the benchmark for refinish repair standards in the world of future mobility." 

BASF's Coatings division, a global supplier in automotive OEM and refinish coatings, recorded global sales of approximately €4.3 billion in 2024.
