VGP expands industrial footprint in Romania

Industrial developer VGP has delivered and has in the construction phase several warehouses across Romania.

The company has finalised the construction of its third building in VGP Park Bucharest North, encompassing 25,950 sqm. This project integrates the latest energy-efficient solutions, including heat pumps to eliminate gas usage. 

Additionally, VGP Park Brașov is expanding by a further 13,813 sqm, simultaneously achieving the park's second BREEAM Outstanding certification, the highest level in this category.

At VGP Park Arad, VGP is constructing a 20,000 sqm factory for VAT Romania, with the plant soon to be operational. VAT Group specializes in high-performance vacuum valves, critical components for advanced research and production processes in semiconductors, LEDs, solar cells, displays, and other products requiring high vacuum environments.

With a share of 10.1% of VGP Group's total land portfolio, Romania ranks alongside key markets such as Germany (21.8%), France (12.5%), and Serbia (11.0%), highlighting its strategic importance in the company's expansion plans.
