Selgros Romania to add EV charging stations to its store network

Business Forum
Wholesale retailer Selgros has announced a strategic partnership with Voltrelli-EVConnect for the development of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across Romania.

As part of the deal, Voltrelli-EVConnect will install 40 charging stations in Selgros commercial centers' parking lots.

Voltrelli-EVConnect has already commenced installations, with the first stations operational at Selgros Brașov and Selgros Tg. Mureș. The Brașov location features 10 charging points, including high-power 240 kW and 150 kW stations, alongside 2x22 kW units.

Robert Hellwagner, CEO of Selgros Romania, said: "For us, it's very important to offer customers an excellent shopping experience. By installing electric vehicle charging stations in Selgros store parking lots, we want to provide additional convenience to our customers and promote a sustainable lifestyle.”

EV charging will be managed via the Voltrelli mobile application, enabling users to locate stations, check availability, and process secure payments.
